Keynesian Emotions

Interventionist from all over the world enjoy their moment of glory, jubiliant at the thought that free market economy “stumbled into crisis” once more. Of course, among the cheers of joy, they cannot refrain from giving a lecture - “I told you so” – and after to prescribe the old keynesian solutions for getting out of trouble with the same dull satisfaction of a teacher who takes revange on the student who played truant during the year. “We are all keynesists now!” (the password that gives you access to the great celebration) seems to be the explanations for the support of a more active role of the state in the management of the economy. During these great times I’m in a hurry to take away from the statists the thing they love the most: the keynesists fundaments of their sollution. This try is, plainly speaking, a difficult one, not because the Keynesian Theory would represent a solid ideational body, but because, after 70 years since the disappearance of the great ideologist, controverses concerning “what Keynes actually meant” still exist.
